[757labs] wifi repeater for quadcopter

It is an iPad.  the ar drone broadcasts it's own wifi.   So I'm wondering
if I can just repeat the signal between the two to give an extended range.

I looked,  that link is great but it's for a usb adapted wireless card.  I
need to repeat the signal without a physical interface.

$60 for a 1000mW wifi repeater.
