Subject: [757labs] Anyone want to participate in VCEC the end of Feb?

Hey guys,

Some of you may already know but for those who don't, the principal at one
of my schools is the president for the VCEC (Virginia Childrens Engineering
Council) for the state of Virginia and found out about us (757Labs) He
thinks we are totally awesome and loves what we stand for. He has asked us
if we would be willing to represent ourselves at a huge meeting where
elementary school kids do robotic things (vague I know.)

He told us he could get us a table right up front with lego and the other
big guys! I think if we took a few projects with us, we could not only
inspire children but promote our hackerspace on a regional level.

Anyone who wants to participate, I'm still getting details but it would be
at the end of this month and up in Richmond. Also, if anyone has tried to
contact me my cellphone hasn't worked in over 3 weeks so I guess we should
stick to the mailing list for communication or real life comm. We're
thinking some neat stuff like the LED cube, Makerbot, and maybe even
Turtlebot.

Hope you guys are interested and want to inspire the future generation in
the STEM field.
