I definitely think that this would be something useful to have around 
here.  Even if it was a corner of an existing swap fest full of other junk.

De Anza is located in an e-waste dump known as the counties around the 
bay.  In some neighborhoods you can score something on Ethan's top 10 
wanted list by walking your dog. Here, I am wondering where things would 
be found to swap.  All the factories in 757 have closed long ago, and 
the military surplus is not very interesting anymore.

MIT flea, beijing pearl market (bigger but less interesting), and 
Akihabara to shame with modern russian radiojunk shopping mall.  It all 
used to be outside in the mud, acres of gypsies who had converted 
shipping containers into storefronts.  We have lots of containers in 
757, our port seems to mostly receive cargo!
