[757labs] Anti-static strap

 On my bench I just use a strip of copper tape around my work area that's
grounded to my bench power supply. I've also used stripped magnet wire
wrapped around my wrist (well, I melted the insulation off it first), and
plain'ol'wire to a power supply grounding point... I think the rule is
"high resistance at ground, low resistance at the hand". You could probably
use some conductive thread from a wearable project, wrap it around a 1M
resistor and wrap that around an exposed pipe and you'll be just fine.
