You have a pet Rhino? Aren't those dangerous?
I would love the help. Would you mind if I came to see your pet Rhino?
Using this parabola calculator: http://mscir.tripod.com/parabola/
Diameter:42
Depth:9
Focal Length: 12.25
I've been messing around with a design to cut these out using two 2' boards,
then bolt them together. That way there is very little waste. Once I get
this all figured out I want to build these with pvc so it's weatherproof.
The boards are relatively inexpensive at Lowes.
I attached a google sketchup file with my first attempt at the design. I
figure by the 10th design, I'll get it right.

Are there any spare motors in the lab? How about worm gears? I don't know
what size I'll ultimately need, so i figure I'll start with whatever is
lying around.
I made my first attempt at cutting a parabola for a solar reflector today.
It turns out drawing a parabola is frickin' hard. It's not as clean as the
CNC will cut it, but good enough for now.
