It's probably less of an issue with long runs as it is with ground planes. 
One big thing is keeping anything from being plugged into an outlet that 
is on that front (old) power panel. I purposely brought all the power to 
the cameras from the rack upstairs so they don't connect to other power 
sources.

Yea, but I wasn't thinking level at the input (which there already is), I 
mean something monitoring what is going into the sound card.

A few more presentations and it should be worked out.
