That is directly off of the laptop. The VGA video is fed through a box 
that produces a composite video feed which is brought into the mix.

There is a little bit of noise, probably from the long cable run, or 
something.

The slides are dark. I need to post Jeremy's video. It just has no sound.

I'd love a box that has composite video in, composite video out, that 
superimproses audio level meters like camcorders do. Hmmm.
