Just a test run. Used VLC to transcode from mpeg2-ts @ DVD quality to 
mpeg4 at the recommended resolution for youtube (which probably just 
passes the encode through to ffmpeg.)

To me, on this macbook, after the youtube upload the audio sounds 
"spatialized" or something. Will have to debug it.

Might see if there are better recipies to do the transcoding with ffmpeg.

Also, the youtube 15 minute limit could be an issue in the future.

Lots of parts on order to revamp the recording system on the way and has 
arrived, so by next meeting it will be much better.
