Hi again, everyone.  I propose the following, following
the HR Geeks 2 meeting this Thursday, and the
Survive Norfolk zombie marathon this Friday.

cookout date: this Saturday, October 23, 2010
(if bad weather, postpone to following Saturday)
11:00 am - arrival / setup
11:30 am - cooking / grilling
12:00 pm - eating starts
2:00 pm - clean-up
3:00 pm - members-only meeting
4:00 pm - open lab for rest of the day

cookout items:
(# of people responsible - items)
1 - vegetarian dish
1 - grill & grilling supplies
3 - entrees: chicken, beef, ? (bison, boca, brontasaurus, etc.)
4 - appetizers & sides (chips, dips, chains, whips)
2 - desserts
3 - drinks
2 - supplies: cups, napkins, plates, utensils
2 - clean-up

partial meeting agenda (ideas are welcome):
logo
shirts, stickers, & other promotional materials
MagFest table
project status updates
upcoming events:
- conferences / road-trips
- presentations

Lastly, we need a way to track who is coming,
and what everyone is bringing -- unless y'all think
we can just pull that off via e-mail....
