Sounds like my time at MITRE. They paid for a whole bunch of guys to go to
Rails Conf in like San Francisco but wouldn't pay for me to drive down to
Charlotte for RubyConf (the one that isn't filled with dudes with spiked
hair). Or Shmoo... Or really anything. They were nice enough to not make me
take leave since i'd worked a 70 hour week leading up to the con...
