Uhh, it's not like it's going to be accessible via the actual web... And
"dedicated applications" are written in HTML+CSS all the time now. But we
can slap up some ugly Java / GTK buttons!

There's no need for flash really since charting can be done easily with web
technologies that actually run on computers. Also unless Mtn Dew is in the
fridge and TJ is there until 3 AM it's not really going to be "fast-moving"
i wouldn't imagine. Just reload the page and you've got an updated chart (or
have it update itself every few minutes with javascript).

I don't know what web you're using... This is 2010 bro! Also all we're doing
is putting a few buttons on a screen (if that really, i would prefer if no
buttons are required for the whole process since they're kind of pointless).
Remember the barcode data comes in via rs232.
And? I'm pretty sure we can grab that via ruby, python, php, or whatever
else we end up using.
JODY: What do you have planned out so far? You interested in writing the
whole thing or just the backend or what? What language were you thinking of
using?
