I have a box somewhere that converts analog VGA to composite, which could
be captured. Stuff like HDMI/DVI to capture requires crazy stuff.
What we will have (probably this week or next) is the ability to record
the projected screen and the presenter to disk. Someone can control which
view is recorded, but both won't be setup to record at the same time. To
do that then you'd need 3 capture devices, 1 for each individual feed and
1 for the switched content. And lots of disk space.
We've got capture cards at the lab but there is issues with the media pc,
just getting it to play back stuff and keep a consistant resolution has
been a major pain. It'd be great to be able to lock the graphical
resolution to 1024x768 and 1920x1080, but it's easier said than done.
